Description:

Meet your English-speaking guide in your hotel or guest house's lobby. Visit the magnificent Maesa Elephant Camp 30 minutes to the northwest of Chiang Mai city.  Located on the banks of a small river, you will see demonstrations of how trained elephants are used as working animals in teak forests. The demonstration includes elephants performing various tasks such as dragging and pushing logs, playing musical instruments, playing soccer, painting portraits, playing darts, and more. This is your chance to enjoy an elephant ride around the camp (Elephant rides are optional).  Afterwards, visit the Orchid Nursery to see a large collection of more than 50 different species of colorful exotic orchids in bloom year round. You can see photos of these two attractions in our gallery.

Return transportation is provided.
